Narratives
Narratives have become one of my stronger writings. Everything I put into a narrative comes from some type of emotion that has sparked within me whether its humor, rage, or fear--any emotion really. I hope you enjoy the great narrative pieces I have written.
Traditional Narrative #1
I was inspired to write this narrative after going through my old journals from when I was fifteen. This narrative is about my father's alcoholism and how it affected my family and I. It was one the most emotional piece I have ever written but it proved to me how strong I have become over the years and that everything happens for a reason. Hence the title.

Traditional Narrative #2
I was inspired to write this narrative because of Tina Fey's "Origins" narrative. I thought that her style was creative and humorous so I took it upon myself to do something similar. My narrative is about my finger because at a very young age I got it cut off by a bike chain. Not realizing it until after I wrote the narrative, I figured out that my finger has helped shape who I am today.
